One other thing. Chuck Hagel announcing his intent not to run for any
office in 2008 really is a disappointment.  Arguably the best Republican for the job and he's not even in the running.  He didn't look healthy at the press conference on Sept 10.  I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't news within a year...

When Joe Biden got strident during one of the debates, several networks
said the same thing about him as you have about Edwards.  And why not?  It's time that we got a president with passion, a president willing to say something against the business-as-usual bureacracy.  Tell you the truth, david, at the moment, I don't care which one of them gets elected, except for that idiot Brownbeck (and maybe Giuliani, because there's something disengenously oily about him), because anyone would be better than that moron currently in office.
