I'm with proc on this one. Part of celebrity is to be tabloided, gawked at

and talked about. It is a price paid for fame. There's always a price to pay for any kind of financial or celebrity success. She was given a gift and she used her body instead of her faith to capitalize on it, now she's paying for that. When I see her, I see a troubled young woman with so much to offer. She just grew a little to fast for her Britnitches.

I've never met anyone whose looks didn't change after knowing them either. I've witnessed physically beautiful people become ugly monsters and I've seen other fairly average folk turn into stark-raving beauties and gorgeous hunks! Particularly if their light shines through their eyes...that is a beautiful attribute beyond any physical beauty!

I think the way you look is only as important as far as it makes you feel.
confident people are so attractive, even if they are 'ugly' by human standards.  Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder but a nice person with a good spirit, always seems pretty.  As for Britainy, she's bigger but she's still beautiful.  Of course a more appropriate outfit for her fuller figure could have made her look more attractive.  Her lacklustre performance coupled with the unsuitable outfit made her look stupid.

thats true she is a mother and needs to set an example of motherhood, by not showing her body that is out of shape in public and she needed to practice and work out to get her good shape back again.

OK, so Britney...... she sucked! Her performance sucked.

She does not have a body that is in primo shape so she shouldn't be parading around in skimpy clothes and not expect to be judged. And, she should not be a mother, parade around in skimpy clothes with no undies on flashing the paps.

I'm all about people being accepted whatever their body looks like, but Britney Spears is a laughable trainwreck.

The only think that scares me when I look in the mirror are

the wrinkles...not because of the way they look but what they represent (the years are passing by quickly). But what I believe makes a person ugly or beautiful (aside from personal care and higiene, of course) is the attitude, the way a person carries herself...and that's a reflection of the "inside".

Now about Britney... I think if she had used her voice instead of her body and image as a means to become successful, I think few people would comment on how fatter she was now.

She was badmouthed only becuse she is a celebrity. Most of us regular people are talked about behind our backs by those we are close to; co-workers and such.

If you don't like the way that  I look, look somewhere else!

Great post, lustorlove
It is such an important subject.   So many people have fallen into the trap you speak of.
