Thank you very, very much......your comments are very touching....and I completely relate to the headlight thing....we saw on the news that we did that here, too......funny how connected a simple thing like headlights on can make us feel.

I just got to this......
It's beautiful.....On Tuesday morning I received an e-mail reminding me to turn on my headlights in memory of 9-11.......and I did.  But tears welled in in my eyes when I saw how many people had theirs on, too.  Well over half of the cars and trucks on the interstate had theirs on.........the silent majority shows their feelings once again.........

Thank you!  I think there are a lot of us out here who were raised that way....we just don't always make the noise those who weren't do.

I know you understand....thank you for the kind words and the rose....I do so love those roses.....which reminds me, that photo of your wife's yellow rose was beautiful!!  It was nice eye candy after the day I had.

Your poem is absolutely incredible....I read it last night and cried all over again....I'll try to get back over there to comment more specifically.  Thank you for reading my attempt to voice my thoughts.

Thank you, swwet man.....I appreciate your words more than you can know....you are so right about the criminal aspect.  I do believe that evil was in such few display on that day,  and many people never really understood its face before.

This is a wonderful post. I was so moved by your saying your were taught to stand with your hand over your heart, to respect the president regardless of your agreement with or not. I want to see more people with those kinds of reasons for tears. God bless you.

One of the most gratifying things about writing here is when something you put out really connects with someone......and I can tell your feelings about the day and your tears are a definite connection....thank you for sharing that.

It is such a powerful memory...
And I still don't understand the "reasoning" behind such an act, it was truly an attack against the innocents.  I had to re-post a poem I wrote shortly after in my opinion blog, it captured my feelings, then and now.

The attack of 9/11 is one of the greatest crime
against humanity .I don't know how some people are being allowed by some people to commit such crime. Excellent heart touching post ! God bless you !

I cried too...
What a wonderful post. I felt the best way to honor those of 9/11 was to watch the tributes, write about it and even listen to music that was written in honor of it. I just let myself be a part of it all day...it's just my way. Tears are a wonderful thing, as are feelings...much better than being numb. Well like I said your post was great !!
