Whenever I feel tapped out
I ask someone for an idea:  "Give me a topic...the first thing that pops into mind"  And after they stop looking at me like I have a chinchilla sitting on my head, they tell me whatever they think, and no matter what it is, even if it's something I know nothing about, I just go with it.

Malc, it'll return. You can lure it back too with a few writing exercises.

I am sure you will feel differently soon.  It's a glorious day here in the UK, how about a walk in the sunshine - it might help.
