- Go to Democrats Demonstrate Support for Troops at Petraeus Testimony
Re: Traitors, In-Deed
Interesting you bring up issues like this. Did not the Democrats in Congress fail on so much of this when it was their responsibility to pass legislation? And go ask a World War II vet from, say, Iwo Jima or Normandy or Anzio, or a Korean War vet from the Chosin Reservoir, about overworked and strained troops.

Traitors, In-Deed
Deeds such as overworking and straining the troops to near breaking by multiple, numerous tours of duty, not providing them with every protection available, not delivering on benefits, especially health benefits;
not taking care of the troops in a manner deserving of their hard work and sacrifice, whilst Halliburton and subsidaries & employees are over compensated (putting it mildly) for shoddy supplies and services and then there is the little matter of horrific conditions at Walter Reed. Where does the buck stop? At the Commander-in-Chief, surely...who is the real traitor here?
