I think life is always like that,abit of pain,abit of joy,throw in some
tears and laughter and you have a perfect recipe.  The weekend after my baby was stillborn we were invited to a relative's wedding.  The day my dad died in South Africa I was celebrating a new friend's birthday in New Zealand.  While our hearts were breaking as we left our home country people were dressed and indifferently going to work ,to school,oblivious to our pain....

I pray your friend will be all right.  The most frightening part of Diabetes is that most people are unaware that they have it until it's almost too late.  I hope he will take proper care of himself.
