Re: arGee - Re: Gee, Talion... It is the continuance of a longstanding joke
On the contrary – I was just adding my own ironic comment.

Antonionioni -when cherished beliefs are questioned there will be emotional
responses.
Anyone posting in this category must realize this as simply the way it is but to respond with deception and lies is quite another thing. To carry on the effort for years does not fall into the realm of normal or understandable behaviour.

between us.
My response should give some indication that the words were spoken in jest but I can see where someone might see it differently if just joining in.

Gee, Talion...
Why are you being so nice to Gome?

Well this will happen as you know Gome. It just goes to show how
emotional people can be even on a blog, when their cherished beliefs are questioned. This is why everyone normally backs off, I suppose, but it is frustrating when you just want to spread the truth as you see it, which is valid.

Talion - how have you been keeping?
Yes, shame on me for being so iconoclastic. If not for my uncontrollable obsession to wantonly destroy the faith of strangers with a few words written in a blog, I could be busy doing what I do best . . . worshipping nothing.
The reality is that it is now simply growing tedious. A pattern has been established where new and creative ways to lie are invented, all is denied, people that are treated to a completely different standard in behaviour stop in to offer support, which swells the ego of Captain Righteousness even more. Then it is on to the next lie. Misquotes, fabricated contentions, lies of omission and more lies are constantly surfacing.
It has long been personal but the perpetrator doesn't see it that way. Attempting to silence people that will not acknowledge his God by harrassing them, is somehow seen as doing good in his twisted mind.

Basically you are a miserable, morally bankrupt, bitterly cynical villain devoid of hope and joy whose sole purpose is to completely snuff out the spiritual fires that burn in the breasts of fellow Blogit members. Well, you're not very ambitious either. If I was as vile as one in particular thinks you are, I'd certainly aim higher than attempting to destroy a few dozen strangers scattered across the globe by writing a blog. Surely there has to be a more effective and efficient way to wreak havoc. That makes as much sense as passing a bag full of hundred dollar bills on the street while on your way to snatch an old lady's purse. Alas, Iconoclast, your dastardly plans are destined to fail, not because they wouldn't have a reasonable chance of success even if they were true, but because Captain Righteousness will fight you (by writing blogs of his own) unto his dying breath.
In my life I've had countless competitors, many rivals, a few adversaries, but never have I had a full blown personal enemy. How does it feel?
It must be personal rather than simply philosophical because other atheists and agnostics here never, except for the occasional cheap shot, experience the endless double-barrelled barrage.

A-and-B - if these types of actions are a league, it is the little leagues.
You cannot possibly be out of your depth with these little leaguers. They are the bottom rung.
