Re: I thought you were saluting...
Maj Ironically I once wrote a post about the history of military service in my family, and the only one in the past 3 generations who never served was me...even my daughter did a 4 year stint in Navy Intel...

Re: Re: Re: Absolutely......
As opposed to what the guys who actually started this fiasco are entitled to wear on their chests, how about that stellar war record of G.W. Bush, Rummy, Cheney, Wolfowitz (remember Wolfie and Rummy? how soon we forget the arm chair warriors with their huge egos and vivid imaginations.)

Re: Absolutely......
Corbin, that wasn't me, I was the one shielding my eyes from being blinded by the reflection from his brass and the medals on his chest...

Absolutely......
And I'd be proud to have my son serve under him.......

It's amazing how everyone reviews the report prior to it's release.....hoping to lessen the impact with the American public...which I understand overwhelmingly trusts the military leaders over the President or Congress.....was that you we saw dressed in pink being dragged out kicking and screaming from the committee room yesterday? LOL

"Snakebit op"

1. One or more of the planners is promoted/demoted/transfered/dies/declared legally insane (last one's the best) just before it starts.

2. Everyone has the show-up time wrong.

3. Your ride doesn't appear.

4.  Your radios are missing batteries.

5. Your gear gets lost in shipment

6.The plane has to be stopped on the runway, taxi back, everyone gets basic immunizations because their shot records are missing, then they find the shot records in the crate where the ammo was supposed to be.

And that's the first day.

"Snakebit": not much of a chance, has bad mojo, suffers the kibosh, propelled by something other than logic by people who have an "out" when it collapses.

"Op": operation.

Sorta like Britney Spears appearing on MTV music Awards show.

Re: Frankly, I find everything about this administration
FactorFiction, There is always a state of emergency that could be declared following a dirty bomb attack in NYC... that would make elections null and void...

Troosha, This administration has "skewed" or should I say "screwed" more than just the data.

Frankly, I find everything about this administration

disgusts me. I cannot wait until the Bush term is DONE. I just hope someone is elected who does not rewrite history and who can restore democracy here.

(I am waiting for him to introduce a way to extend his presidency...)
