I would say that I did meet a few... and unfortunately, most of those times, I probably behaved like the men in my poem...
....as friends, though, yes, I have met a few good men, for sure :)

Hopefully, as life marched onward, you met some men of character and quality. I can relate to the poem and a phase I went through but low and behold I came to appreciate that there are
more than a
few good men out there.
