It took me months before I actually bought curtains. I've been in the apartment just over a year and they have been only about six months. They aren't even proper one, just temporary.
Usually I hack it off myself too, but this time I figured I better pay someone to do it properly.

..it inspires me to do mine again, though I normally hack at it myself and hope it doesn't turn out *too* badly..
...and good luck with your bedroom! Maybe oh maybe please I will be insprired to finally hang up my new curtains!
