I had a child 10 years ago this month- hard pregnancy-I was only 23 -single
It was the most difficult time of my life but the most joyous time followed when I saw her! It is funny how the most precious things in life come through so much pain and you look back and you think it was all worth it. And you think I would not want it any other way. That hindsite it smart, if only we could remember that things always work out for the best in our dark moments. Then again without the dark how would we appredciate the light?

It will all be worthwhile. BTW, Fathers, or I should say Daddy's don't have it as easy as you think. Granted, the woman does the carrying of the child and suffers greatly, but a Dad has his job to do as well. Anyone can "father" a child, it takes a real man to be a daddy

I'm so sorry that what should be a joyous occasion is so hard for you. If we lived in the same city, I'd just mobe my Mom in with you to help you take care of the baby, and to pay a little room and board with her social security! (She can't find a job and lives with my sister and brother in law

You
need friends now... Call someone you haven't seen in a while but had a tender connection with and renew it. Most people have it in them to be compassionate and even helpful during difficult times.

Although I didn't go through my pregnancy alone, a year later I became a single parent. It's important to create a support system of some nature. In my case, given my family lived miles and miles away, a created an extended family with a few girlfriends. I couldn't have made it through juggling work, being a mother, being me, and making ends meet without the laughter and support of those friends.
