Re:
Yikes!  When my cat was still alive, she liked going to the vet.  She would make a big fuss and usually rip my fingers to shreds, but when we got home you could see her parading up and down and showing off: "I went to the vet!"  If she had had a Blog, I'm sure she would have written in it about it all, with some possible exaggerations.

Re: ophelia

I think you may be right :)  It didn't work, though, we had much fun and games with it (well, *I* did and Whiskey was part wild cat so I like to think it allowed her to get in touch with her 'inner' wildcat now and then...)

It did eventually 'die' (the cardboard cat) - it's eyes were scratched out first!

My cat makes that same face whenever the vet makes his semi-annual house call.

And it usually means he's about to lunge for someone's throat.

The cat, I mean. Not the vet.

The tiger can't change his spots.
No, wait, he did!
Good for him.

ophelia
I think that expression was directed at you.  Like "Get that damn cardboard cat out of our house!"
