Anything above 80 is hot?
Good God, woman, the nightly lows are around 82.  During the day it's....well, there's a reason we have lizards frolicing across the lawn instead of squirrels.  And that their puches are filled with "palmetto bugs", which is a very exotic name for giant, mutant cockroaches.

You should be in TEXAS..... in the summer!!! We had a local baseball
player to die from a heat stroke this past week.  If you're home, wear something cool and keep a cool cloth around your neck. I do that when I'm outside for a very long time at home. It rainned yesterday and cooled things off.  Fall is coming ...everyone is ready for the break...but I don't like Winter.  I'd rather have it too warm than too cool!  I guess we are never satified, huh?  Good luck!

I can sympathise with you as I hate heat as well. it gives me bad
headaches.  But I just wish our cold here would ease up because it's supposed to be spring...

You'll do fine... the change in the weather is always a bummer... I know humidity and dry heat for instance are quite different but still uncomfortable. Drink a lot of liquids.

Wish I were where you are. Temps here are not for human living. But I guess the boss man knows his plan!

Re: you guessed it just right I am in Ventura County, where are you now?
Oh, sorry I didn't get back to you earlier.

Well, I no longer live in California anymore, because I'm attending an out of state (California is my "home state") university. I do miss it a LOT though. Man, I can't believe you live in Ventura County. I passed by there all the time... and now my tears are welling up, because you are making me nostalgic.

The evil that I call Winter, is not that far off, here, in the Midwest - I'd take the (even humid) 90's, over anything below, say 70 degress - LOL!

Do you live along the coast? Like, Santa Barbara or some place like that?
Because I used to live there for quite a while, and, yes I agree, anything above 80 was just brutal, especially the houses there didn't have/need (most of the time) AC.

However, I lived in "The Valley" quite a while, too, and I tell you, summer in San Fernando Valley should be a crime. That place is a mad cook house.

I still remember how unbearable the heat was when I went to California.

All I wanted to do was jump into a pool of water ...  a fountain or pond would do too if I had seen one! LOL

Hope it cools a bit. Here it's okay there's a little cool breeze.
