Comments on Whites are racists...aren't they?

There is a little truth in there

as well as a lot of stupidity.  I do find it unfair that they can have all-black anything, when all-white is viewed. I even view it this way myself. How did that happen? Has it been that ingrained in me that anything involving only whites is inherently a racist environment? Why isn't it the same if I saw an all-black _whatever_. Is it because whites are the ones who were behind putting all of blacks into their own little world to start with? If that had never been true in the first place, would they have wanted to have an all-black college, whatever, now?

Hmmm...while I don't agree with the poem as written, it is thought provoking.

Great response, Saul...
I could not agree more with you about there being only one Human race.

I find this little soliloquy on racism just a bit self-serving, just as I

find all these other groups and organizations ridiculously self-serving.  All black, hispanic, asian groups or whatever are intrinsically racist -- they exist to promote their race over, at the expense of, and exclusive of the others.  I'm for cultural diversity; against racism -- of any race.  Besides, there's only one race -- human.  Everything else is simply decoration.

Nothing worse than a sore winner...

You've got to be kidding, afzal...
Democracy's big flaw is that eventually the population discovers that it can vote itself a bonus from the pubic coffer, and proceeds to vote for politicians who will supply that handout. What you get is what we have now. See my next post on this subject.

This is a beauty of democracy .

I see your point clearly, Mademoiselle, but...
I can't hold White liberals responsible for what Black/Hispanic/whatever folks do. White liberals may have set the stage, but individuals still are responsible for their own actions, don't you think?

Well, perhaps the "poem" is somewhat "broad" and one-sided.

Though it does seem as if society may be doing a bit too much "bending over backwards" to "level the playing field"

However, I don't blame the blacks ... I blame the "liberal white guilt" that enables and empowers them.

Happy Labor Day Weekend! (Where applicable.)
