They never leave you
They never leave you cats dont.  I have had to part with so many of my feline friends over the years and every one still visits me.  Some think I'm crazy, but thats ok.  the only opinion that matters is my cats.

I'm so sorry, Jemmie - losing a beloved pet is so hard...

...I got mine when she was 8 weeks old and she died 2 years ago at the age of 16.  I still *often* cry for her, especially in bed at night and I miss her all the time.

I know how you feel, Jemmie...The same thing happened to me a couple of months ago.  My beautiful little Meeko was part Maine coon, and my roommate's sister found a book on different cat breeds, and inside...you guessed it, a cat that looked just like him.

I did break down and cry then and there.
