You can take her to your local PetSmart, their classes are cheaper
also, there are a lot of books and tips online, you might look into that. One option is to muzzle her, like someone else suggested to avoid potential lawsuits

Have you noticed her having any sort of agression at meal time? Sometimes, food agression in cats and dogs can lead to agression with humans and animals for no apparent reason.
You may want to muzzle her when you take her out and please talk to your vet. She may have some unseen medical problem that's causing this.

I would be careful. You must calmly let her know who is in charge. Try keeping the leash close in and make her walk at your side or a little behind. Let her know you are leading this walk, not her. I don't know this could be real problems.

my dog used to be like that for years
I started to slowly introduce her to new people, than i'd introduce her to new animals little by little. She's reverted in her old age to being grumpy again, but for years ahe was great with other people and animals
