I agree. If she gets a lawyer or whatever, she can do it she is grown up! We hate to admit that. Mine is 40+ and I want to do everything for her, have to bite my nails sometimes, but pulling back seems to help. You may not have had the help from your Mom you felt you should have had. I didn't and I tried to make it up to mine and neglected myself often for them. Be blessed dear lady.

Your daughter is a grown woman. Let her take care of this. She is now 21. You take care of you and guide her if she ask but let her do it. Just my 2 cents worth. Be blessed.

in most of this statement I disagree, this police officer had no right to do what he did like she was a criminal and get her for loud music after she was already leaving her car. Does the word prejudice come to mind? He should be out there protecting people from real crooks and not innocent people driving a fast red car and she looks young for her 21 years.

police officers have the toughest job in the world, they put their lives on
the line for us everyday, in a moments notice they have to distinguish between the "good "and the "bad", maybe how they tell is by attitude. maybe they sense certain things , why are we so quick to want to get them into trouble. would serve all us "good people" right if at a given moment they would all go on vacation. then lets see how quickly we would beg them to return. even if we have to suffer a ticket. come on a small price to pay.

Incidents like these, don't inspire one to want to donate to the Fraternal Order of Police, do they?

Cops arrest girls because they're (usually) not as dangerous
as gang-bangers or crooks. If she gets an attorney the ticket will go away. Otherwise there'll be a fine to pay.

Most parking lots are considered private property and out of police jusrisdiction. I know that if you are in an accident in a supermarket or mall parking lot, the police will not come because it is private property. You may want to check into that

but these kids were just going to the movies and got a ticket for loud radio and treated like they were bank robbers, that is too extreme for me

It seems the police are swarming everywhere this holiday weekend. They have about three traps right around here to catch people coming off of the freeway and forgetting to slow down enough.
