saul relative: You should keep track of your associations or business relationships.  Recently, a teenage girl got killed in a car accident not too far from my home.  Her parents didn't know the driver of the car.  She was a passenger in the car.  Apparently, the driver of the car was her boyfriend.  You have to be informed.

Unless a candidate or office-holder, appointed or elected, is implicated in
the wrongdoings, it is asinine to assume that said candidate or office-holder would resign their candidacy or office just because a political fundraiser was doing something illegal -- regardless of which party the fundraiser was illegally raising funds for.  Politicians are tainted by the company they keep, but only idiots expect them to resign without actual proof of their involvement.  Its just guilt-by-association politics...
