Love is a verb
I really like your thoughts on love. I too have been thinking about this idea. Love has been misused in our society for too long. We use the phrase "making love" in relationship to sex. It seems to me we would do a lot better to use that phrase to describe what we do to make love happen. I am actually working on a new book titled, Making Love and Other Non-Sexual Activities to encourage couples to discover how to make TRUE love.
In my new book I am writing about six types of intimacy. I believe when we fully understand intimacy we can make our relationships incredible. We will make true love.

Actions vs. Words
Actions do speak louder than words. But sometimes people only tell you what you want to hear to get you where they want you. This happens way to often!!!

Very interesting post
I like words but actions always speak louder than words for me.

Personally, I measure "love" in terms of how much money a guy is willing to spend on me. That's what I consider the mark of "true love".
Love can sweep you off your feet,
and carry you along
in a way you've never known before.
But the ride always ends,
and you end up feeling lonely and bitter.
Wait. It's not love I'm describing.
I'm thinking of a monorail.
