Xeno-x - that's the point - waiting to get off the bus does nothing at all
to address the urgency of some of those things we do have to worry about.

we have enough to worry about
in day to day living

to get caught up in something that certainly will not happen

even Jesus said not to get caught up in imagined future events, because we have enough on our plate today to worry about.
