A-and-B - it is fair to say that most evidence has been subjected to a
filtering process over the centuries.
We will never see evidence that contradicts the claims made by the church because all of it has been destroyed, discredited or swept under the carpet by an institution who had it in their best interest to maintain one set of truths . . . at all costs.

spinner - I have read your blog, including the most recent entry
I tend not to comment on the posts of others unless I have something to add and am always reluctant to do so when someone makes a declaration that they are a Christian within the first few lines. That is the unfortunate reality of being preceded on this site by so many self righteous Christian nutcases, you will run into some people that are wary of engaging you in dialogue.
As for the content of your last post, no one can argue the premise of how invalid it is to extrapulate from a small sampling to draw conclusions with which to illustrate characteristics of the entire group. I've seen a number of posts that do use unfair generalizations arrived at in that manner. I wonder however if you are discerning enough to appreciate those posts that you may not agree with but have arrived at their conclusions with a much broader perspective and are not utilizing unfair generalizations? That's the trick of intellectual honesty, people aren't always wrong because we don't like what they say . . . . read spinner's post: HERE

There is almost no physical evidence. Whatever there is, they are also being refuted, then re-instated, then refuted again.
