I guess the only good thing about children, HEARMENOW, is that (unlike most adults) kids can usually be intimidated into keeping quiet when the police come around and start asking a lot of questions.

babysitting
I used to think I hated all kids( even though ,and sometimes
especially, because I have two of 'em) But I realized that they are just like regular people and I can hate them individually for their own unique abilities to annoy. Some are okay, and sometimes the the worst ones crack me up the most-and the best part is they don't know you're laughing AT THEM! My son and I enjoy asking one really fat little girl "what does the piggy say?" and when she says "oink oink" we say
"exactly". Laughter is so good for the soul.

I'm going to assume, malcolm, that that would (almost certainly) be a violation of some sort of law.

Well, in fairness, Cringe, making toast is a lot trickier than it first appears.

The face of a child can say it all, Saul ...
especially the mouth part of the face.

Maybe you could make room in the cupboards for them?

I'm trying to groom my 12 year old for babysitting (sometime in the
future), right now, she can just about remember not to let the toast burn. I dread what would possibly happen to a child in her care, so I've a few years training left yet. If she knew about all the money involved it might just be an incentive for her to learn faster & maybe I could afford that RX8 a little sooner. It's not child labor if they're related to you, y'know.
Aside from that, she reckons minding her little sister (nearly 2) is punishment.

Not being a clubbing type of person, I used to watch people's kids for them
when they'd go out. I found that kids will tell you anything, some of it true or their version of the truth. Otherwise, like adults, kids are notorious liars, manipulatory, and obnoxious. Oh, I did it for the extra cash and to reinforce the fact that I didn't want children...

I seriously doubt I could ever pass such a course, riri.
Unless it was, like, from the DeVry Institute, or something.

when i was in sixth grade I actually took a b-sitting course for a
certification-- and I was bumped up the list for calls--- growing up on a military base--- I earned my first two years of college tuition before I even was in junior high.

Don't give it too much thought.
It was purely "hypothetical".

Also, bandana, did you notice?
No italics. First time ever for me.
(My mother always complains I use too many.)

Haha. Good one!
This is really funny.
Well, at least (thank goodness) you don't have a kid of your own.
