Most definitely, Sunny. They've been tracking animals for years by radio
frequency.  Still, computer chips and microminiaturization has revolutionized this type of thing as well.  Look at the tracking ID chips some swanky night clubs are using to allow their regulars quicker access.  I saw this as part of plotline on CSI: Miami.  Amazing.  Thrilling.  Innovative.  Chilling.  Oppressive.  Take your pick.  All the above.  The future is now, Sunny...

They are already doing that somewhere with farm animals, aren't they?
