I've always believed you don't have to go to church to show your faith
you can just as easily pray at home - God is listening no matter where you are.  Thank you for this ML and God bless

our church is so small--- really small but I love it that way and we all
know everyone and their history. We're a family and frankly I am of the belief that no one is above having too much "good" family.

MandaLee
What bothers me about churches is that that they are revenue earners and Religion is the product. Their hierarchical nature  means that higher-up determine policy and dogma. The preacher or pastor is the sole purveyor of doctrine and there is no time for feedback or rebuttals. It seems the organization has distanced itself from the church-goers. While communing with God in the silence behind closed doors was recommended as the way in the bible, the need to be among one's own kind is genuine. Permanent structures lead to organization and cult-formation.
