that hits me especially hard. It just made me try to picture what the policemen and firemen were feeling when they came upon my brother dead on his porch. But I guess I just feel that at least they don't know that person personally like the family did. It's like that but intensified.

Well, that's certainly rather depressing!
It's very nicely done, though.
You know what I bet would be a pretty good job to have?
Running a nuclear reactor.
Because that way, even if a terrible accident occurs ...
you'll just end up with some sort of cool superpower.
