sannhet - I can use exactly the same sentences by simply adding the word
"don't" in a couple of places.
I feel no need to prove anything I believe to anyone else as well. All of the "proof" of God's existence that I have been offered was all non solicited, every last example. So it is safe to say that at least some people need to prove their beliefs to others.

jollyjeff - that's really the point of it all; everyone does have to decide
for themselves.
The days of having belief defined by others that demand conformity in those beliefs is outmoded. It is a relic of years past.

Gome -
Though I believe in "God" as you know, there is no way for me to prove it. But then, I don't believe that I need to. What I experience as "God" is proof enough for me.

Based on what I know now
I do believe in something that could be called "God" but there's a whole lot I don't know. I think you're right in saying it can't be proved either way. Everyone has to decide for themselves. Or not.
