If the Democrats had the presidency now and the Republicans had control of the Congress, the same thing would be happening in the reverse order. People like you think only liberal Democrats do these things. Conservative Republicans are capable of the same things. Politics is politics and will continue to be so. Republicans aren't more honest or less hypocritical than the Democrats. If one party can gain political points over bad news, they will do so. It goes without saying for both major political parties. Do you know why? Answer: Human nature.
