Regarding the news in the United States, my main beef is with the corporately-controlled media. You will never get the complete and undeniable truth regarding current events if these corporations have majority interest in newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations. What do you think?

I disagree. I could easily survive without the "news".
Well, maybe I'd need the weather report. But that's about it.
If you're in a war, instead of
throwing a hand grenade at the enemy,
throw one of those small pumpkins.
Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is,
and while they are thinking,
you can throw a real grenade at them.
