Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment : although I'm long retired, I am a very busy man, one way and another.
Re my name : Although I have had much work published about the Holocaust and the persecution of the Jews ( and the Moors )by the Spanish monarchs, and the Nazis, I am not Jewish myself.
Those who name their daughters Ariel really ought to find out a little more about its provenance. In Hebrew it means " Lion" or " Lion of God" : not " Lioness" It is therefore very much NOT a female name!
I chose it as my internet name for its connotations of a mischievous spirit ; which, even at the age of 76, I hope I remain.

Unfortunately, I've become very disillusioned with Blogit, and I don't vist very often these days, nor will I renew my sub in November. However, you may email me if you wish.
