- Go to Bears love cheesy puffs and half cooked baked potatoes.
(mountain) lions...
and tigers and bears, oh my! Don't take them too lightly though, they can get mean when foraging for food.

A cougar? Whoa.
That's scary! One year I lost 4 cats. One was most likely killed by a stray dog, two dissappeared without a trace, one was killed by a poisonous snake. We have a variety of poisonous snakes. This year I lost two. It's a tough world for outdoor cats. Take care

With the advancement of human civilisation the bears are also learning
to eat fast food.

LOL Mia...I like cheesey puffs too, but I ain't gonna fight no dang bear fer 'em! Actually, we have a lot of bears up here in Maine, but I've never seen a live one up close and personal except for at the animal parks.
I think it's so sad that they've become so used to and dependent on humans...

MiaElla - Really? Stopped to think, and yes the Panhandle does have a lot
of forest. I just thought it would be too hot for bears. Learn something new every day! Still trying to finalize trip details, will let you know when I do!
