I have "The Descent" on DVD, and it actually does end the "negative" way.
Meanwhile, what I find interesting is that, in an action movie, the villain's minions pretty much "drop like flies". Yet when the lead villain is fatally wounded (shot, stabbed, whatever), he always takes forever to die, and usually makes a lengthy speech first.

I recommend you this anime/manga miniseries
called 'Death Note'. The villain is the protagonist and he relatively wins after all. 37 episodes.
