Saul Relative
I am a Christian but I am a Jew by adoption I believe in the total Bible, I have studied the Torah. Christianity is at the invitation of God of the Jews (Christ) being a Jew. The books before Abraham are not precursor books they are only the part of the story of the creator who made the first covenant with Abraham and Christianity is the same as was prophesied by the Hebrew prophets of a new covenant. Actually the first five are called the books of the law.... It is considered that perhaps Job is even the oldest book of the Bible. The first five set up the foundation of the Hebrew or Jew, their genealogy and the laws they are to keep. Islam is a true plagiarism of this story. I am aware of the other religions their dates and some of their core beliefs as well. Thank you for your information.

The first five books of the Bible are the oldest, Justi, and are the
precursor books of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This makes Judaism the father of the three, Christianity and Islam offshoots, coming much later. Buddha and Confuscius were contemporaries in the late fifth, early sixth centureis B.C. And Hinduism, which is the world's oldest practiced religion began over two millenia before Christ was born. So, as you see, Christianity isn't thousands of years older than other religions, major or not. The only major religion it is older than is Islam. And when you get technical, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are just branches off the old Torah...

Writer of Light. . .
Of course it has been. Those of us who know the truth just let it ride and do not speak out enough. We do run into brick walls as you know but if one hears and heeds that is progress. Be blessed.

That is so sad. Those who do not know the Lord cannot know the real value of His Word. I am so proud of your son. Sad, sad.

Well stated . . .
. . . but I cannot escape the notion that much of what we now see has probably also been described in mental health texts as symptomatic of various forms of mental illness.

this is a wise post,well-written. I was saddened a few weeks ago when
the Gideons visited my 14 year old son's high school and gave the kids Bibbles. He brought his home to me saving it from destruction at the hands of fellow pupils. They ripped the Bibles apart, some rolled them up to use for rolling their tobacco, another lit his in front of everyone and my son was made fun of for wanting to keep his. And new zealanders cant understand why such a beautiful country has such horrifying suicide, abortion, domestic violence and child abuse and murder statictics. Most people here dont believe in God and it breaks my heart to see the unnecessary suffering.
