Maggie
Great stories!
I know of a lady who had borrowed her son's car, driven somewhere, parked the car, and when she came back it wouldn't start. She popped the hood (she found the button after some fiddling around), opened it and was in shock - her engine was gone! She stood there, not knowing what to do, but obviously distraught. A man walking by noticed that something was amiss, went up to her and asked her if he could be of help. She pointed at the void under the hood and told him that her engine was gone. He said to her, "Ma'am, your engine is there, in the back!" She was driving her son's VW Beetle and didn't know the engine was in the rear...The man even helped her start it. This happened some years ago, apparently, and was told to me by her son, the owner of the car.

Do you all have a rubber dingy boat? Then you can sit pretty in it, in the pool, paddle about, for old times sake. I had one ages ago. It was fun staying dry.

MaggieMae, I love these ,especially now working with the very old. They
have the most amazing humour. My dad was like that, going through red traffic lights, then driving in the wrong direction on a oneway. my mother would have her work cut out backseat driving just to keep them alive. then he'd tell her to stop backseatdriving but when the police pulled him over for going through a red light,he blamed her for not telling him the light was red. After she died he had two major accidents but was not injured. We were all relieved when the second accident wrote his car off so that he stopped driving.

Re:
Hello
(A). How are you tonight? I just got home from going to my grandson's birthday party. He's now 11 and a ball of fire. We had a good time, but my son has a pool and the gnats were really getting to me. I had enough of them and we came home. I hope you're enjoying your evening.
