Thank you for your kind thoughts. I agree life is too short to deal with ugly spirited people. These people only try to discredit you and be hurtful. Other people write things I disagree with but hey it is their blog not mine, they have a right. My first blog on here someone called me a war monger and said I should not be allowed to breed. I decided he was worse off than I since I am 70 years old and my about me shows I am too old to be reproducing. I thought it was terribly crass, and wasn't sure I would stay. Glad I changed my mind.

I had to block a person who's comments were hurtful in intent. Oddly enough it was in the mature audence section and you can't just stumble in there. Obviously he did not read the waiver one must acknowledge to get in there becasue he violated the terms there. What I wrote was humorous, crudely so, but that is the proper place for such stuff, but he suggested I take my own life! I can understand someone disagreeing with something but to dish out abuse like you have seen, I would just block them, life is too short to put up with that.

Been there myself.
I chose to block one person who repeatedly threatened me with violence because s/he was unable to refute my arguments. All others are still welcome. If a comment is too ridiculous, I'll usually just let it collapse under its own pretentiousness. But if it has at least one salient point that can be dealt with briefly, I do so.
I think it's intriguing that the liberals who make such a big song and dance about freedom of speech seem to be the ones most intent on personal attacks against dissenting opinion. One or two readers have accused me of censorship and so forth, even though my invitations for all (aside from the one who wants to do me in) to comment are there for all to see. The way I see it, truth has nothing to hide when confronted by error, by the proponents of error get very nervous when confronted by the truth, even to - and beyond - the point of wanting to silence those who speak truth to them.

I so appreciate your comments. I don't put up with it. I simply allow some people to rant until they show their colors. Any color left in too strong light will fade soon.

If everybody did that on here we would be one whole community of tattletales or hall monitors as in all other middle schools. Grow up I am not your enemy. I don't see your signature on everybody else's posts, just mine and in a very slanderous form. Why am I so favored? I often see things on other's posts that I don't agree with, I just think they have as much a right to post that as I do my posts. You simply believe you know what is right and nobody else does. I do see that you recognized yourself in my post. Thank you for admitting your are the ugly commenter.
