                    Sometimes I think that one of the reasons some countries are less
                
                    developed is because of this kind of mentality you wrote about. Nobody can be truely free and expand when the heart and soul is being repressed. 
  Western women often complain about our rights, freedom and equality but we never really knew what it is like for other women in other cultures.
  My childhood best friend was Indian and even though she was born and living in Canada she did not have the right to chose the man she wanted to marry.
