Madam - It has been a long time for me. I tend to walk away to think.
However, when I was younger I did get caught up in the, 'he said', 'she said' stuff. I guess it is something that is learned over time. Hopefully, one learns. Good post.

I spent four hours waiting for you at the pub...each time I bought myself half a lager, I bought you a pint....I drank so much...that I had to go to bed for an hour to sleep it off...

My b/friend tends to say smartass, degrading remarks to me, even in
front of his kids....I used to confront him, but lately I let it go in one ear and out the other, but one of these days, I'm afraid I'm gonna blow up.....maybe, I should try to get over the asshole....love is such a weird emotion.

Yup… there’s no “back spacing” when it comes to the spoken word. I tend to be a peacekeeper and although I don’t acquiesce to someone who I might disagree with, I usually redirect the conversation to something more positive. I HATE confrontation.

I love the debate, people getting in their points, giving me something
to think about. But pointless arguments, circular and hurtful? No thanks. I used to argue with my EX about picking up after himself. Wherever he went he left debris, socks he pulled off, his coffee cup, empty beer cans, overflowing ash trays. I see him at my son's house from time to time. Son complains his dad
never picks up his empty glass and puts it in the sink, never lifts a finger to help with anything. No point in arguing.

Don't think I'd rather have a blogger argument...
Last time I really blew up and said all those meeeaaaan things through text messages. Sometimes writing is way more dangerous because you're not facing the person.
Cowardly of me probably ... but lessoned learned - I will never have a writen argument again!!!!
