charlie horses,
i have alot of them, just sitting in a chair, or laying in bed. eating bananas help. it is a deficiency, i am having a senior moment, its not calcium, its......potassium, eat bananas, broccoli and tomatoes are another good source. potassium regulates the water in the muscles.

Yes, I do get cramps at night especially on rainy days! There's a kind of vegetables that I can't eat because when I take that, I'll get cramps! It's very painful when I try to walk the next day.
