Good Tips... although #2 doesn't work to well for me.

If I repress or deny my problems they always have a way to come back to haunt me!

I just try to find a way to "convince" myself that it isn't that big of a problem. Try changing my perspective on it.

Sometimes it works...sometimes I just freak out on it!

I use to worry all the time about everything...then I gave it up to a higher power and realised I cant fix everything, but He can...So I believe that everything works out in the end and the answers come to you when you need them the most.  So for me its faith in the fact I will know how to jump that hurdle when the time is right for me to jump it.  I dont believe God fixes everything and you just sit back and let it happen, I think He gives you the tools you need at the times you need them to help yourself..As the old saying goes God helps those who help themselves... He just gives you the nudge you need to do it.  Since I adopted this attitude my life has become easier...Im happier more often than not and I know that no matter what happens in the end a lesson will be learnt and I will be taken care of.  I think once you reach that point in life it becomes easier to live it and experience all the problems that come up and that these problems are not as bad as we think...Positive thinking is a great tool and it will bring great things into your life if you allow it too.

Very interesting.
I seem to have an easy time solving other people's problems but don't know where to begin with mine.

Madam - Interesting that you write on this as I'm reading a book called
"The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and this afternoon I read a chapter not about problem solving but what is sometimes underneath thus.  The chapter is called: Consciousness: The way out of pain.  What he addresses is this core statement:  "The greater part of human pain is unnecessary.  It is self-created as long as the unobserved mind runs your life."  I think the same principle can be applied to problem solving as what you've written about #4.  Just thought I'd share.
