Mr. Mom.
I am a heterosexual male who has always longed to be a stay-at-home father who was deeply involved in his children's lives. I wanted to do all the stuff that mom's typically do in addition to father things. I wanted to take my kids places, home school them, cook for them, take care of their injuries, teach them things, etc.
I think that guys like me are becoming much more common and the idea that males are not cut out for family life is rapidly dying.
But I admit, I would feel that my worth was deminished if my girlfriend/fiancee/wife were paying all the bills and "bringing home" the proverbial "bacon". I believe that most men would also feel that way, as it is our evolutionary predisposition to be the "protector and provider".
