Oh, and you have to be more helpful without imposing upon their traditional roles.

Well, if that is true, then you men had best get more handsome, more helpful, more polite and more moral, or women won't have any use for you.

While it is (relatively) easy to get the numbers, it is far more difficult to determine why the numbers are what they are. And no, there is absolutely no legislation anywhere that would prevent a woman from performing any type of job whatsoever, but there are regulations in place in many settings establishing minimum quotas for women. In most cases it doesn't matter, but it has had a negative effect on some services, such as police forces and fire fighters...

They're my top reasons for being a guy, now I can add salary to that
too?!

I could list other reasons but they'd need a rating.

Re: Re: So you're telling me there's no governmental employment legislation
Corbin, I don't think so given that there are probably countless everyday freebies the donor doesn't give thought to.  Their contribution ends with a smile & a possible cigarette, whereas a woman's contribution progresses with nausea, stretchmarks and frequent bathroom trips. It ends with pain, grunting, sweating, straining not to mention the 18 years after.

Hmmm?  Would she owe a commission or referral fee to the "sperm donor"???

So you're telling me there's no governmental employment legislations
to prevent this discrimination?  You're telling me that a man & a woman doing the same job don't have the same pay?

Maybe they should just pay women to give birth?

Corbin - Interesting. I'd be curious to know the population births of both
genders.......wonder if that plays into it at all?

Actually, I think more higher level mid management types,
guys in their forties or so, are geting axed left and right, leaving younger workers of both sexes intact. So if you pay some teeny bopper $10 an hour, it doesn't much matter what sex she is.
