Emoticons and such, unless integral to the sentence flow and context,
should be treated as a separate sentence. Put them after the punctuation.

I think smile serves as a big full stop.So grammar no issue.
As for the gadgets, every new product is a source of tension.You feel like left behind unless you own it. By the time comes another.
