Your comment indeed sums up, down to a tee the overall impression of the poem; I was indeed describing the transient nature of seemingly solid and fool-proof, reliable and love-founded relationships..which never are exactly how we think they are when we're clouded by strong emotions lol

Circuit, thank you for reading my poem. You'll be glad to know that writing down my feelings creatively via poetry is one repair mechanism I use! It has been difficult. There are still times I feel stung by what's happened. But it's part of life and yes, I am repairing. I am healing. And I do feel better :D

Aw thank you so much OneBetty :D yes i suppose everyone goes through the notions of heart-break, break-up, being led on and even 'almost heart-breaks' in my case lol. Thank you so much for reading the rest of my work. I'm really glad and flattered that my writing appeals to you! :D
