I agree with you about the importance of being open-minded.

kooka_lives - this forum has exposed for us that for some people, belief

in God is nothing more than maintaining their delusion at all costs.

I've been blocked many times as well but not once for anything ever pertaining to my commenting behaviour. In all cases without exception, it was about the content of my posts, some people just cannot handle an opinion other than one agreeing with theirs. Ultimately that is what allows the nonsensical religious constructs of primitive man to survive in a modern world. Ignore all that does not reconcile with the religious construct, no matter how irrefutable, shut out those who will not support the delusion and always look for consensus amongst others who have been conditioned to agree. Once the mind is conditioned to believe that living this fantasy is a worthy path in life, justifying all of the atrocious behavior we have seen from these people is easy for them. They actually believe that the manipulation of real truths or scientific facts and outright lying has some higher purpose.

I still get a kick out of the individual that told so many lies about us and to us, over such an extended period of time in an effort to prove that both you and I were of inferior character. Manufacturing lies to prove that others cannot be trusted is more than a little ironic. Aside from being hysterically funny, it is a sad statement to the extent that a person's religious beliefs have failed them in every facet of their personal growth.
