you have been through a lot of stuff and that fact you have come out as good as you have says a lot for prayer, even though we dont understand those events we learn from them, we learn to take the good with the bad, keep it up kiddoPraise

We do not suffer at the hands of God
There is good and there is evil. We walk with both everyday. Nothing makes sense now but would those children suffer horrible abuse had they lived? Would they have had wonderful lives? God saved those children and they did not suffer. My mother suffers everyday with unquestionably terrible pain still she prays to the lord every day. Her faith is tested and she will win her place in heaven for her faithfulness. Never giving up god gives strength and hope for a better and more possitive life either here or beyond. God bless you in your time of need.

You're right. None of this cruelty makes any sense or seems to serve any

worthwhile purpose.  I once had to arrange a funeral for a baby -- my sister-in-law wasn't up to the task. At the time I asked the why question -- mostly talking aloud to myself. The woman who ran the funeral home said "Heaven would be a poor place with no children." Somehow I found comfort in that, although I doubted the existence of heaven...

The question is, why did you survive all this?  What needle is pulling your life's thread through the dark tapestry of life, and where is it leading?

angel - You have experienced a lot in your life --no doubt about that. Did
you read my post titled, 'The Gift'?  It is just one incident of a miracle in my life.  I think I will write more.  I'm not looking to change your beliefs or anything, but there are miracles out there.  And this might be hard to accept, but I believe that sometimes we are put through experiences of pain because we are strong and because someone else doesn't have to.  And there is a balance to life and living.  You will find it.

Thankyou all...
free will should never include the bashing of a young child and an infant to their deaths...I understand where you were coming from with that, what a shame though that some people are just sick, poor excuses of human beings and take that free will too far.......

If no free will stil meant happiness without events like the Holocaust, which God could have arranged - I would have preferred that.

I think it's called free will darling
God set us free within his natural world and that includes all the good and all the bad. He's not the one who's greed won't share the worlds resources equally with all the creatures here.i sent my own babies out into the world to sink or swim. I'm always there if they want me I'll always lend a hand if they ask. I just won't interfere. If that is mother love, then how much greater is the love of God.

It was one of your gender, who caused all the suffering throughout history - when Eve ate the forbidden fruit, then "tricked" poor Adam into eating it, as well - I'm being sarcastic, in case you couldn't tell...
