Little ones pick it up so early that sometimes they haven't even mastered certain sounds in their linguistic skills.  The little one of a friend was trying really hard to make his fingers form a certain hand signal and was saying "ah - ho".   He was trying to copy his dad who was not very patient when it came to other drivers.

I used to believe strongly in curbing the use of bad language until i found out that it is nearly impossible. I have slipped on more than one occasion and my husband has not control over his language. My in-laws think it is funny when my 2 1/2 year old uses bad langauge and sometimes it is. so who are we trying to kid? i think the best way is to ignore it,, when kids don't get  reaction to something they drop it automatically (i hope  ).
