Snakes frighten me but I feel mostly sorry for them. They are generally
hated and killed. There are copperheads around here that are poisonous. I hate them, too.
Swimming in a Michigan lake with an aunt who was only one year older than me, we heard some Motown music when I was a kid, wafting over the splashing. I used to listen to the underground radio at night. Jimi Hendrix was my secret love then. I kept my little transistor radio under my pillow at night so I wouldn't bother my parents....

If that boy was carrying a real coral snake he would be dead...they are extremely poisonous. I like snakes, we have a pact..
My favorite summertime memories have to be back to the days of Gidget...Oh yes loved those!
