I can relate better to the first girl.

But when you said, "Now? Now I find myself an intermingling of both me's..." I thought to myself, well, then they really DID "meet" after all!

that is very true... and we have to be willing to do the same in others, despite their flaws. They are no more human than the rest of us.

It’s a wonderful yet often difficult accomplishment to become friends with all the aspects of ourselves. I guess the trick is to accept the good, the bad, and the ugly and walk with our chin up.

Yep, I think the balance comes from the two. Sometimes a third & fourth too.
