This reminds me of when my Tippy got in a fight with a weasel. He came
home with the tip of his ear missing and went all around the house shaking his head and spraying blood, I guess because it itched.  I put a bandange on his head so his ear would stop getting flung all around, then I had to put a stocking on the bandage to hold it in place.  Finally the blood stopped....

I hope you got it taken care of and the leg is okay.
It's a wonder casts can stay on a dog's leg at all, as much as they're always running around. They sure hate that dreaded "cone" around their neck don't they?

I am so sorry.....
pets become part of the family, and their needs are as important as our own.  I hope your puppy is okay....the vet should be able to take care of it. I understand your worry, I have two dogs of my own.
