Seeking a mate is like this, but one should not invest too heavily, either
outside ones self or into any one person, at least until reciprication accrues equally. Slowing down allows the wine to breath, as it were....

What a lonely feeling it is to feel the outsider. But, it is good for everyone to feel that way at one time or another and to remember the feeling so that they are aware of how others feel in the same setting. Always being the popular one makes for a superficial person.
