I just got caught up on your posts. You write about many interesting and important concepts. I have been working for many years now on trying to deal with loved ones from the point of having no expectations. Of course I am speaking of adults here. When training up a child there must be expectations and disciplines. But, when a person becomes an adult, they must be responsible for their own actions and words. Expectations only get in the way of the relationship. If there are no expectations, there are no disappointments.
